Welcoming, pt. II

So, it is my turn, one of your humble peers, to welcome you to our tiny garden where we dabble in the process of trying to make sense of the world around us. To achieve such a feat, that we think unachievable for the time being (we love paradoxes. we really do.), we'll try to harness the power of critical thinking, armed with philosophy and inquisitive minds, walking the way paved by science. And if the need arises, we'll analyze our own epistemological means, and ask what can we really know?

If you're ready to put your beliefs and vision of the world through the uncomfortable test of critical analysis, then be welcome to our small meeting place in the vast forest of knowledge and doubt. If you aren't ready, we welcome you as well!

After all, contrary to what most academic philosophers, from the top of their arrogance think, we can all be philosophers. You just need to wonder and ask questions about the world that surrounds you. Seek answers. And more importantly, seek questions!

So, those are our fundamental goals: to think critically, and to provoke thought. And to have fun!

"My advice to you is get married: if you find a good wife you'll be happy; if not, you'll become a philosopher." -- Socrates

Really, Socrates?
